Why Our Weekly CSA Pickup Near Kutztown University Is the Best Part of Summer

One of the things I love most about living in University Valley is picking up our weekly CSA.

This week, my daughter Kensi and I stopped by Heart & Hearth Deli & Bakery, just steps from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, to pick up our share from Taproot Farm.

This week's harvest didn't disappoint—fresh greens, juicy watermelon, farm-fresh eggs, mushrooms, and plenty of seasonal goodness that reminded us why eating local is so rewarding. Every pickup feels a little different, and that's part of the fun. You never know exactly what you'll be bringing home, but you know it'll be fresh and grown close to home.

There's something special about supporting local farms while sharing the experience with family. Now comes the best part—figuring out what's for dinner.
